With the increasing heat of UV disinfection products, UV disinfection robots are becoming more and more popular. Recently, according to foreign media reports, the U.S. Pittsburgh International Airport has adopted UV disinfection robot, and Amazon has also designed a UV disinfection robot, which can be used for sterilization in warehouses, whole foods and other places.

Us Pittsburgh International Airport uses UV disinfection robot

Novel coronavirus is the first airport in the us to use ultraviolet technology automaton to prevent surface infection and prevent the spread of new coronavirus, the report said.

The robot first uses a washer to clean the busy traffic area, and then uses ultraviolet to disinfect the surface. Airport officials say they will soon be using UV disinfection technology in escalators, handrails, elevator buttons and other areas that are often in contact.

It is reported that the UV disinfection robot is developed by Carnegie robotics, a US based enterprise, and is currently being tested in the terminal building, and will soon become one of the daily cleaning procedures.

Amazon novel coronavirus was also reported to be a robot that could use ultraviolet rays to kill new coronavirus.

The disinfection robot is a bit like a hotel luggage cart. A very high metal frame is installed on the rectangular base with wheels. At least 10 ultraviolet light tubes are equipped on one side of the frame, which can be used in warehouses and whole food supermarkets to disinfect the surface of food, packaging and door handles.

CBS "60 minutes" shared a video showing the disinfection machine driving along the freezing channel of American whole food supermarket, aiming at the refrigerator door to emit ultraviolet rays for disinfection.

A spokesman for Amazon said the robot research and development team has been designing and testing UV robots. Although the robot has not been used in any Amazon or whole food supermarket store, the company is very optimistic about its application prospects and will continue to innovate.
