Dimmable T5, T8 LED TubeProduct Description: Dimming of LED lights The first way: This dimming method is to complete the dimming of LED lamps by modulating the driving current of LED. Because the brightness of LED chip is proportional to the driving current of LED, we can control the light and shade of LED lamps by adjusting the driving current of LED. The second one: This dimming method is called imitating dimming method or linear dimming method. The advantages of this dimming method are: when the driving current increases or decreases linearly, the influence of the driving current overshoot on the life of the LED chip is reduced, and the dimming circuit has strong immunity to interference. The defect is that the change of driving current has a certain effect on the color temperature of LED chip. The third method is called pulse width modulation (PWM). This method is to adjust the driving current to be square wave shape, and its pulse width is variable. After the modulation of pulse width, it turns into the time of continuous illumination of the modulated LED lamp, and also changes the input power, so as to achieve the goal of energy saving and dimming. The frequency is about 200Hz ~ 10kHz as usual; because of the lag of human eye vision, the light source will not be able to feel the flickering phenomenon in the dimming process. The advantage of this dimming method is that it can improve the heat dissipation performance of LED. The defect is that the overshoot of driving current will certainly have a certain impact on the life of LED chip.
