TrendForce LED Research (LEDinside) points out that, in this list, the main industrial intermediate products involving LED products, including chips and backlighting products, account for the low proportion of China's LED industry export to the United States market, and the export of the above products in Taiwan LED enterprises is China, for this, the substantial shadow of China and the Taiwan LED enterprises. The noise is limited.

LEDinside, the chief analyst at LEDinside, said that from the 1300 list of products published in the United States, there are several projects in the LED industry, such as 85414020, 85419000, 90330020. China is the main product producing country of LED. The above three kinds of products belong to industrial intermediate goods. The demand market is mainly the LED application production enterprise of China. It is not directly used by consumers. Therefore, the proportion of the industrial intermediate goods is very low, only about 5% of the output value of the LED industry, and the proportion of direct export to the US market is lower because of the small production enterprises of the native LED application products in the United States.

LEDinside analysis, China's luminous dipole customs code is 85414010, the United States included in the 85414020 in the Chinese customs commodity description is a solar battery product. As a result, the export of LED products, which is actually listed in the tariff list, is only $46 million in 2017. Even if 85414010 is actually included in the tax project, it is only about $129 million, with a total of no more than $200 million. Compared with the size of the output value of China's LED industry, the impact is quite limited.

On the other hand, the large proportion of LED products exported to the United States are mainly concentrated in the downstream applications, such as lighting products item 9405409094051000, 85312000 of the display class, but the above items are not within the limits of the 301 list. However, because of the small number of domestic products manufacturing enterprises in the United States, most of the lighting brand enterprises and sales channels are entrusting China to the workers. In the future, if we tax the above application products, the price of this type of product will rise sharply in the US market.
